Throughout this long way, I can say that I learned many aspects related to this awesome world of teaching. I still remember the first day I taught my first class at an Advanced English II group. First, it was not easy for me to deal with teenagers of my same age, but I learned that age is not an obstacle for being a teacher. Similarly, when I came to deal with another kind of people, I realized I had many new things to deal with as well, so I tried to be as clear and concise as possible.

During the first semester of this year, 2017, I faced some comments which somehow discouraged my willingness to become an English teacher; however, I learned to be clever enough to avoid being hurt by this people’s comments since I knew I was not being a bad teacher. Eventually, I felt a long way of new knowledge and improvements coming, but I tried to keep positive in order to face this situation and gain more experience from every good or bad comment I got from my mentors. Besides everything that happened during the first semester, I also had a great experience working at English Access, which was the most satisfying and rewarding experience I had as a teacher at UNICAES. I loved seen those guys working and   putting into practice what I thought them.

After the first semester finished, I was excited to know what groups I was going to be working with, so I asked God for wisdom and patience to teach remarkable and understanding classes to every group I was going to be sent. Thankfully, I had three outstanding Intermediate groups which taught me plenty of things that I did not know when I was being taught theory related to teaching. Now, through my experience as a teacher, I realize that it was difficult for me to build up in myself another mindset since the moment I started my major until now that I can proudly say that I became a professional whose ideas and constantly knowledge will change the world. Lastly, I am kind of worried to face what is coming, but I trust in God’s plans to give me what I deserve so I  am willing to work hard in order to make all my dreams come true.
